• Designed and launched first free e-mail and e-conference system in Sweden for CompuText in 1983.
• Founding member of the Voice-Mail Association (VMA) in 1986, and introduced Voicemail as a new technology and service concept in Europe.
• Founding member of the Arabic Language Working Group of MINC, in October 2000.
• Operated the McGordons Ltd Group of companies, which was started in 1998 and also operateD McGordons LLC in Dubai.
• Introduced Voicemail in Europe in mid 1980s, and headed the creation of Value Added Services - VAS (900 different services). He launched these VAS services in more than 10 countries.

Mats Engström

Up to August 2006 Mr. Engström was the CEO of Nerdlabs Consulting, Sweden, Senior Engineer & MIS Manager for Telecom Carrier TeliTel AB Sweden, 1994 - 2002.

System & Solution expert, with over 25 year's hands-on experience.

Mr. Engström has been working with Lars Olof Kaanngard's different projects creating companies and global consumer trends since 1983. Mr. Engström has vast experience in building systems from hardware to software, integrating system solutions within corporations in addition to building Value- Added Systems & integrations to various Telecom standards.

• Has actively overseen GE's interests and risk in joint ventures such as Bank of Ayudha Thailand, Cosmos Bank Taiwan, Singapore Post, Tesco Card Services and Central Card in Thailand, Hyundai Capital in Korea, Walmart Card in China and SBI Cards in India.

Karl-Erik Eriksson

Tax Accountant for the Swedish Tax Authority as early as 1976. A combined 40 year carrier of international fiscal, audit, tax and financial experiences brings a quality standard to the ViA^® Group that creates a difference. Moved to the private accounting sector 1982. Started his own accounting firm in 1992.

• Operated his own auditing company in Sweden for almost 25 years, which came to be sold to Ernst & Young.
• Associated with Coopers & Lybrand for 10 years, the distinguished accounting firm that was formed in 1998 from a merger between PricewaterhouseCoopers & Lybrand.

Mel Calvert

Chief Communications Officer

With more than 50 years of professional communication experiences, spanning from an early position in the US Army as a Communication Officer to Sales & Marketing communication and international showbiz entertainer. Mr. Calvert has published several books and brings valuable writing skills and experiences to perfect the message of the ViA^® Model to the world. He has been associated with Mr. Känngård for over 40 years.

Christine Reyes Badua

Head of Digital Information Gathering (DIG)

A Payment Industry expert, with more than 11 years experience in gathering information and compiling global movements within payment, online and mobilephone development, positioning the VIA^® Group at the forefront. The DiG Department has today a unique collection of global facts and country developments in our own in-house VIA^® INTRANET. Highly efficient in training diverse departments such as; sales, secretarial support, telemarketing and Customer Management as well as leading education of ViA^® staff or partners program.

Roopesh Ojha

Director & COO Viacard India Pvt. Ltd.

One of the most important executive positions in the company is Marketing, Roopesh Ojha fills this position brilliantly, bringing a solid background which began at a very young age in several different types of marketing, from pickles to diamonds. His mastery includes not only skill at selling tangibles but also the perfect mindset needed to sell ideas. He does all this with an ease that is admired by all who know him for his artful people skills.

Dina Bharkhda

• A payment industry expert, with 22 years with Visa, Dina retired in 2017.
• Director - Global Business Solutions- Corporate Cards & B2B solutions at Visa Inc.
• During her last 6 years, Dina was responsible for Commercial card solution effort to standardize product features and capabilities to interface with key banks globally to grow multinational corporate clients' portfolios. Conceived a Business Information centre of excellence that realised process excellence and business change across the multinational programmes typically reducing the project lifecycle by 40%.
• Prior to that she was involved in Prepaid Products (Central, Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa) Visa CEMEA. Worked as product and business development to grow the prepaid markets and portfolios resulting in achieving a growth of over 200% in 2 years.
• Meeting with Lars Olof Känngård in 2017 persuaded her to "un-retire."

Sunny Calvert

Sunny Calvert holds a university degree in education and music and is an experienced writer, copy editor and presentation coordinator, working with several authors in reading their books for print. She served as Director of Music and Liturgy for her church until her retirement in 2016. She continues to do consulting for varied businesses.

• Branding and consumer - market behaviour analyst, combined with excellence in leading the education team.
• Joined Chief MindShare Nordic as in 1998 and become the Chief Analyst at the TV4 channel in Sweden in 2001 to re-joint MindShare 2002.
• Become the Strategic Director for the ViA^® Group in Dubai 2007.
• From 2009 to date, the CEO for Mimer Energy AB Sweden in the field of Renewable Energy.
